"Bumpereno" Gives Borgata Two Thumbs Up
Bill "Bumpereno" Munley (Throop, PA) is looking to pickup where he left off at Borgata, with another final table and possibly a win. The difference this time is that he's in a much better emotional state.
"It's a happy place for me," says Munley, who found out his older brother Bill died from a fall while on his way to winning the 7 Card Stud title ($8,000) in September at the Borgata Poker Open.
Munley is one of 11 players left and, with 180k, is one of the big stacks heading towards the final table.
Munley is one of ~20 players who have won two Borgata trophies and is looking to add his name to the short list of three time winners. He's other previous title came in April of 2011 and he would love to add a mixed game trophy to his resume.
