Championship: Octo-Niner Takes Chip Lead

$2500 + $200 Championship Deep Stack No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)

Espo Out in Front

Michael Esposito (Seaford, NY) has jumped to the top of the chip counts.

The 7th place finisher at this year's WSOP is the first to crack 300k after he won a pot from John Ciofalo (Newburgh, NY). Esposito c-bets the king high flop, Ciofalo folds and Esposito shows pocket queens.

Esposito won $1.3 million for his finish at this year's Octo-nine.

Former chip leader Mike Shasho is bleeding a bit and has gone from 270k to 240k and it's the same story for Mike Melkersen, who's gone from 160k to 140k

The penultimate level of the night is underway with blinds at 600/1,200/100 ante.
