Event 17: 6 Max Attack

$1,000 + $90 Deep Stack Six-Max No Limit Hold'em (Re-Entry)

Herm "Chirping" About his 3-way Knockout

Mark Herm (Philadelphia, PA) knows how to break a table.  Just as their table is about to break, there's a four way all in and Herm knocks out three players.

Andrew Badecker (Vernon, CT) moves all in for 17k, Herm calls (70k total), a third player moves all in for 38k and another player is also all in for 18k.  Herm makes the call.

Badecker: KJ
Herm: AQ
Player 3: 99
Player 4: 88

Board: 6 7 3 5 Q

The river queen gives Herm the scoop and he's now up to 150k.

Herm was a high stakes online player, screen name 'dipthrong,' before Black Friday.  He has nearly $200,000 in career live tournament earnings and has just started a podcast called the Chip Herm Show.

Herm is also friends with Badecker, who was the inaugural winner of the Borgata Fall Poker Open Championship event for $389,000.  He says the early exit will give him extra sleep as he's prepared to defend his title.

And he's hoping that he only needs to play Day 1A, "people aren't afraid to put their chips in here at Borgata."
