Just before hand-for-hand play, Chip Smith (Lumberton, NJ) gets two double-ups through Paul Volpe (West Chester, PA). One of the hands comes at the same time Alex Queen knocked out a player on a neighboring table to set the field at 25.

Volpe has a pair of aces (A 7) against Smith's pair of kings (K 6) on an A K x flop.  The field is just two cards from the money, but a king on the turn gives Smith new life and keeps the field at 25, one spot from the money.
