Badecker Bracing for Another Long Journey
After busting on Day 1A, defending champion Andrew Badecker (Vernon, CT) is back to fire his second bullet.
Badecker won the inaugural 2011 Borgata Fall Poker Open in the wee hours of Thanksgiving morning for $389,000.
After playing all night, Badecker got a ride back to Connecticut where he was on time for turkey and pumpkin. No word if the trophy was used as a table centerpiece.
At today's table Badecker is joined by Wayne Lewis (Galloway, NJ) and Ilya Dyment (Brooklyn, NY), who won Event 15 (Omaha H/L 8B) for $13,038.
