David "Doc" Arsht
It was only five months ago when David "Doc" Arsht (Radnor, PA) was handling his newest piece of jewelry, a World Series of Poker bracelet. Doc won Event 13 ($1,500 Limit), taking home just under $212,000 along with the bracelet. Five days later he bubbled the final table of the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event, and left Las Vegas padding his career earnings to $280,000.
Arsht is no stranger to these parts, and can be found playing in one of the numerous mixed games at the Borgata Poker Room. As we were taking his picture, one of the other players at the table chimed in, "He may have a bracelet, but he doesn't have one in HORSE." That may be true, but Doc wouldn't mind adding a trophy for this event (just as prestigious).
