A couple of former Championship Event winners are in the field, including Melad Marji (Brigantine, NJ), who took down this year's Summer Poker Open for $198,000.
As a local he says the Nor'easter on the heels of Hurricane Sandy are making things tough.
"My place is okay, but the neighborhood is destroyed," he says.
Also in the field is Alex Queen (Bethlehem, PA), the 2010 Spring Open Champion ($356,000).
